Chef Hitesh Rana’s journey with Indian cuisine began at Rizvi College, where his passion for the bold and vibrant flavours of India took root. Over the years, he honed his skills at prestigious 5-star establishments, including The Ambassador Hotel in Mumbai, mastering the art of creating dishes that tell a story with every bite. His culinary expertise and creativity shone during his collaboration with The Mars Group, where he co-founded “Sachins,” a restaurant honouring cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

In 2006, Chef Rana brought his vision and culinary talent to Canada, opening Daal Roti in Mississauga. Inspired by the rich heritage of Bombay-style cuisine, Daal Roti quickly became a cherished destination for those seeking authentic Indian food. With an emphasis on bold spices, perfectly balanced flavours, and stunning presentation, every dish reflects Chef Rana’s dedication to quality and taste.
