Chef Hitesh Rana’s love for Indian cuisine began at Rizvi College, where he discovered the bold and vibrant flavours of his homeland. With years of experience working at renowned 5-star hotels and the prestigious Ambassador Hotel in Mumbai, Chef Rana honed his craft, creating unforgettable dishes. His partnership with The Mars Group led to the opening of “Sachins,” a restaurant dedicated to cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, further showcasing his culinary expertise.

In 2006, Chef Rana brought his passion for authentic Indian food to Canada, opening Daal Roti, a place where Bombay-inspired dishes shine. Known for their bold spices, rich flavours, and impeccable presentation, Daal Roti has become a cherished destination for lovers of exceptional Indian cuisine.
