Chef Hitesh Rana’s love for Indian cuisine began at Rizvi College, where his fascination with the vibrant flavours of India took root. With years of experience in prestigious 5-star hotels and The Ambassador Hotel in Mumbai, Chef Rana honed his skills and became a master in creating exceptional flavours. His partnership with The Mars Group led to the creation of “Sachins,” a restaurant celebrating cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.
In 2006, Chef Hitesh brought his culinary passion to Canada, opening Daal Roti in Mississauga. Known for its authentic Bombay-inspired dishes, Daal Roti quickly became a beloved destination for those seeking rich flavours and exquisite Indian food. With a focus on traditional Indian recipes with a modern twist, every dish is a testament to Chef Hitesh’s dedication to perfection.
