Chef Hitesh Rana’s journey with Indian cuisine began at Rizvi College, where his fascination with the vibrant, bold flavours of India ignited. After gaining invaluable experience in luxury 5-star kitchens and The Ambassador Hotel in Mumbai, Chef Rana honed his skills in perfecting complex flavours. His partnership with The Mars Group led to the creation of “Sachins,” a unique tribute restaurant celebrating cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

In 2006, Chef Rana brought his passion and expertise to Canada, opening Daal Roti in Mississauga—a destination for those seeking authentic Bombay-style cuisine. With every dish carefully crafted to blend traditional spices with contemporary flair, Daal Roti has become a cherished spot for food lovers looking for an unforgettable Indian dining experience.
