Chef Hitesh Rana’s journey into the world of Indian cuisine began at Rizvi College, where his deep appreciation for the bold and vibrant flavours of India first took root. With years of experience working in prestigious 5-star hotels and at The Ambassador Hotel in Mumbai, Chef Hitesh honed his skills, creating dishes that celebrate the rich culinary traditions of India. His expertise reached new heights when he partnered with The Mars Group to open “Sachins,” a restaurant honouring cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

In 2006, Chef Hitesh brought his passion for authentic Indian cuisine to Canada, opening Daal Roti. This popular restaurant in Mississauga became known for its Bombay-inspired dishes, featuring a blend of bold spices and modern twists.
