Chef Hitesh Rana’s journey into Indian cuisine began at Rizvi College, where his passion for India’s rich and diverse flavours first ignited. With years of experience in prestigious 5-star hotels and the renowned Ambassador Hotel in Mumbai, Chef Rana honed his craft, perfecting the art of creating extraordinary, flavour-packed dishes. His collaboration with The Mars Group led to the creation of “Sachins,” a restaurant inspired by cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.
In 2006, Chef Hitesh brought his culinary expertise to Canada, opening Daal Roti in Mississauga, where he combines traditional Bombay-inspired recipes with a modern twist. Known for bold spices, exceptional quality, and artful presentation, Daal Roti has quickly become a go-to spot for lovers of authentic Indian food.
