Chef Hitesh Rana’s journey into the world of Indian cuisine began at Rizvi College, where his love for the vibrant, bold flavours of India first took root. With years of experience at prestigious 5-star hotels and The Ambassador Hotel in Mumbai, Chef Hitesh mastered the art of creating authentic Indian dishes with a modern flair. His collaboration with The Mars Group led to the creation of “Sachins,” a restaurant celebrating the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

In 2006, Chef Rana brought his passion for Bombay-inspired cuisine to Canada, opening Daal Roti in Mississauga. Here, diners experience the true essence of Indian food, with a menu that combines rich spices, exceptional flavours, and an unforgettable dining experience.
